Druskininkai Municipality, like all municipalities across Lithuania, faced operational challenges in processing social benefit applications. With 35 different types of benefits and over 12,600 applications received in 2023 alone, the municipality's 15 specialists were overwhelmed by manual processes, complex legal requirements, and the need to verify data across multiple registries.
"Processing benefit applications has become increasingly complex over time," said Rūta Trainavičė, Head of the Documents and Information Department at Druskininkai Municipality Administration. "Our specialists were spending excessive time on technical tasks such as data verification and recalculations, creating delays in processing and increasing the risk of human error. We needed a solution that would allow us to focus more on helping citizens and less on administrative procedures."
